This project featured the construction of a carbon neutral steel cladded building – one of the first “cradle to grave” building envelopes constructed. Highly insulated, the finished project exceeded building regulations requirements. As well as the insulation, the high frequency, low energy daylight-equivalent lighting system contributed to the dramatic reduction in CO2 and carbon footprint. The Bulmers – new bottling hall is the only building in Ireland with a three star rating for deconstruction.
